Purpose: Annual Managers Meeting
Title: “Bellwood, Illinois”
Shot on high definition (HD) video, this short documentary about a unique business partnership between Best Buy and the city of Bellwood, Illinois was part of a presentation at an annual meeting of managers. It was also used by Best Buy CEO Brad Anderson at a presentation on Wall Street that made national news.

Purpose: Employee Community Building & Web-based Viral Marketing
Title: “Holiday Commercial Auditions”
Following eight weeks of employee auditions to appear in a holiday TV commercial, Best Buy created a mini “reality TV” series for their 100,000 employees to enjoy on their intranet. Each episode was also posted online weekly for customers to enjoy.

Title: “Profile of Boo Boo”
In-depth employee profiles were produced to generate excitement around the relaunch of the Best Buy intranet. Boo Boo’s story was posted in two parts to increase return traffic to the site.

Client: Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota
Purpose: Fundraising and Historical Documentation
Title: “Walter Mondale Teaches University of Minnesota Class”
The Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs chose to create a documentary video to showcase an innovative class co-taught by former Vice President Walter Mondale at the University of Minnesota. The DVD was also used for fundraising.

Client: Torah Academy
Purpose: Annual Banquet Presentation and Fundraising
Title: “Torah Academy Banquet Video”
Torah Academy, an award-winning Jewish day school, annually commissions a documentary video for their fundraising banquet. The school also used the DVD to recruit new students and for additional fundraising activities.
